Delete your LegalLens account
Use this page to request that your LegalLens account and associated personal data are deleted. You can delete immediately while signed in, or email us to request deletion without using the app.
Option 1 — Delete in the app
- Open Sign in and authenticate with the account you want deleted.
- Go to Profile.
- Open the Permanently delete account section, type
DELETE, and confirm.
In-app deletion cancels active Stripe subscriptions when possible, then deletes your Supabase auth user and cascading user-owned data.
Option 2 — Email a deletion request
If you cannot sign in, or prefer not to use the in-app flow, email us from the address on your LegalLens account:

What we delete
- Your authentication account (email / sign-in identifiers)
- Profile and preference data tied to your user id
- User-owned library / saved content associated with your account
- Active subscription billing for that account (cancelled when deletion succeeds)
What may be retained
- Records we must keep for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or accounting reasons (for example limited Stripe transaction history held by our payment processor)
- Aggregated / anonymized analytics that cannot reasonably identify you
- Support emails you sent, retained as needed to complete the deletion request and for abuse prevention
How long it takes
In-app deletion is processed immediately when confirmation succeeds. Email requests are normally completed within 7 days of verifying account ownership. We will confirm when deletion is finished.
