Women in the Arab world

Women in the Arab world refers to the lifestyle, living conditions and status of women in the geographically large Arab world which spans from Maghreb region in western Africa all the way to Gulf states across the Arabian sea covering span of two continents of Asia and Africa. The experiences for women in Arab world differ significantly owing to socio-political, economic and cultural differences across the Arab League member states, indicating that there is no universal experience for Arab women.
